Hathway’s new broadband plan offers 125Mbps speeds, unlimited downloads at Rs 649 per month

As JioGigaFiber’s eventual launch draws nearer, the Indian broadband sector is set for a major battle in the coming days. In anticipation of the same, rival players are busy ramping up their offerings, with Hathway being the latest to do so.

The cable TV and broadband operator has revamped its entire line-up of broadband offerings, upgrading all of them with unlimited download benefits sans any FUP restrictions. Hathway has operations in major Indian cities such as Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata. It’s worth mentioning that the refreshed plans are currently available only in Hyderabad, but the company may introduce them in other circles as well.

As for the plans, the ‘Hathway Thunder’ plan offers 125Mbps speeds and unlimited downloads at Rs 649 per month, without any FUP restrictions. Consumers who want to make up front payment for six months and one year can do so by paying discounted prices of Rs 3,594 and Rs 6,599 respectively.

Next up is the ‘Hathway Lightning’ plan, which gives speeds of 75Mbps and unlimited downloads with no FUP restrictions in place, at a monthly price of Rs 599. If consumers pay for six months and one year, they have to pay reduced prices of Rs 3,924 and Rs 5,988 respectively.

Lastly, the entry-level ‘Hathway Super’ plan comes with speeds of 25Mbps and a monthly price of Rs 349. However, in this case too, downloads are unlimited and there are no FUP-based restrictions or caps.
