MIUI 10 stable edition rolling out for over 21 Xiaomi smartphones

Xiaomi has today confirmed that it will be rolling out MIUI 10 Stable Edition to the second batch of devices. The software update will be made be made available to 21 Xiaomi phones.

The second batch of Xiaomi phones to receive the MIUI 10 Stable Edition are the Mi Max standard version, Mi Max high version, Mi Max 2, Mi 4, Mi 4S, Mi 4C, Mi 5S, Mi 5S Plus, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi 5A, Redmi 4, Redmi 4 high version, Redmi 4X, Redmi Note 5A standard version, Redmi Note 5A high version, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 4 MTK version, Redmi Pro, Redmi Note 3 4G, Redmi Note 4X Qualcomm version, and Redmi 4 high version.

On September 10, the Chinese manufacturer had released the MIUI 10 update to phones such as Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, Mi MIX 2, Mi MIX, Xiaomi Mi 6X, Mi 6X, Mi 5, Mi Note 2, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi S2. By this the MIUI 10 Stable Edition has arrived on a total of 39 phones in China.

There are two ways to install the update. The first one is through OTA update and the other one is to download the ROM of the eligible Xiaomi and manually install MIUI 10.

Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 was introduced on May 31 this year as an improved version of the MIUI 9 from last year. MIUI 9 had brought many improvements such as blazing fast performance, split screen mode, UI changes and more. In June, Xiaomi had released the Developer ROM version of MIUI 10, and in September the first batch of Xiaomi phones were blessed with its stable version. MIUI 10 offers newer features such as gesture-based navigations, redesigned Recents Menu, Picture-in-Picture mode, nature-friendly notification sounds and AI improvements.
