Samsung’s troubles with iPhones seem to have grown beyond cameras and hardware to social media. Shortly after the previous gaffe involving an Apple iPhone, another Samsung account has been found to be tweeting from an iPhone. Samsung took legal steps last time, but it remains to be seen what Samsung does in the present situation.
Samsung Mobile’s official Nigerian account that goes by the handle @samsungmobileng reportedly tweeted a promo video for its newest Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. Popular YouTuber MKBHD, who has built up a reputation for noticing such discrepancies by brands and celebrities on Twitter, posted a screenshot on Twitter that shows the tweet from the aforementioned Samsung handle with the added detail that it was tweeted from an iPhone.

It seems the account was deactivated for a while and now it is back, and the tweet in question has been deleted. Samsung representatives have become prone to making such mistakes it seems. Recently in Russia, Samsung filed a lawsuit against its brand ambassador, Ksenia Sobchak, a television host, politician, and journalist who was caught using an Apple iPhone X publicly.
A short clip of a television interview showed that Sobchak was using an iPhone, and constantly trying to conceal the device from the camera. It was reported, that this was not the first time she did this. She is also not the first one to be sued for breach of contract, and other public figures including Ellen DeGeneres and Adam Levine have also been involved in similar cases.
