Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2S to support wireless charging, low-latency

Xiaomi is all set to globally launch its latest Mi 10 flagship smartphone on March 27. The company could also launch its widely rumored Mi True Wireless Earphones 2S on the same day. This sounds sensible as the Xiaomi Mi 10 series offer supports reverse wireless charging, meaning one will be able to use the phone to charge the TWS earbuds. Now, a fresh report suggests that the earphones will support low audio latency when playing games with a Xiaomi phone.

A low latency gaming mode of 120ms will make sure that users get a stable and fast gaming experience on their phones. Xiaomi’s Mi True Wireless Earphones 2S is expected to come with Qi-supported wireless charging feature. This information reportedly comes from the database of the Wireless Power Consortium.

We are not sure about the pricing of the Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2S. However, similar to most Xiaomi products in the market, the device may be on the affordable side. It is unclear if the device will feature the Qualcomm QCC5126 audio chip for improved quality and wireless charging. The company is expected to reveal features, pricing and availability details for the wearable at the Mi 10 launch event.

Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2S has already received Bluetooth certification. The certification hinted at an impending launch of the device. This audio product received the certificate on 12 December 2019. It is likely the successor to the Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones already available in the market. Besides, Xiaomi is all set to launch its Mi 10 phone on March 31.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 is already available in China. It is a successor to the Mi 9 smartphone. The latest flagship Mi 10 phone supports a 108-megapixel sensor as well as Wi-Fi 6. The 5G device comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. The Mi 10 ships with a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display, as well as the latest Android 10 OS.
