Vodafone seems to have re-introduced a new offer for its prepaid users. This offer is priced at Rs 597 and it offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day and a total data allowance of 10GB 4G data. Yes, you head it correct, the total data allowance for the complete validity period is just 10GB. Talking about the validity of the plan, Vodafone is offering 168 days of validity for feature phone users while smartphone users will only get 112 days of validity. This means that the offer is aimed at feature phone users who don’t require as much 4G data as other users.
This offer is likely to take on the competition including Airtel, and Reliance Jio. According to the report by TelecomTalk, this plan is likely to counter a similar plan by Airtel that is priced at Rs 597 but it is only aimed at smartphone users. Talking about the benefits from the Vodafone plan, users will get unlimited local as well as STD calls across India even during roaming. However, the company is limiting the daily calls to 250 minutes per day which means that users get 4 hours and 10 minutes to talk time every day.

The limitation extends to 1000 minutes of voice calls per week which means about 16.6 hours. This is no all as the limitation also includes that users can also only make calls to 100 unique numbers during the period of their validity. The offer is also valid in all Vodafone 4G circles across the country.
According to the report, the plan by Airtel does not come with any limitation in voice calls and the validity period extends to 168 days for smartphone users. It is unclear if the company is offering any different validity period for feature phone users. One thing to note here is that the Vodafone plan was first introduced back in August.
