Alleged Nokia 9 PureView dummy images now hint at a ‘no-notch’ display

A new batch of Nokia 9 PureView dummy images has surfaced online with a twist in display design. The new images posted by NPU hint at a ‘no notch’ display, which is in contrast to previous leaked dummy and cover images.

These alleged Nokia 9 PureView dummy images have reportedly come via another Nokia 9 cover manufacturer. The images also show a glass protector and back covers for the yet-to-launch Nokia 9 PureView.

Rumors about the Nokia 9 PureView anticipate that the smartphone will come with penta-camera setup, which means five cameras at the back along with an LED flash. After few alleged cases of Nokia 9, recently one more popped out on Amazon revealing the five holes that are made for the PureView penta-camera sensors, similar to case renders leaked a few days ago.

Some reports recently claimed that HMD Global is almost ready for the launch of Nokia 9 PureView. It is to be noted that HMD Global is hosting an event on December 5 in Dubai, where the company will unveil Nokia 9 along with a number of other devices.

Another set of leaks suggest that HMD Global is looking at January 2019 timeline for the launch, while some suggest a late-December release. Initially, the company had reportedly encountered issues with the production of the penta-lens camera module of the smartphone.

However, a report recently claimed that the issue has been resolved and HMD has put in everything in production. The maker is expected to hold a mega unveil event for the smartphone, which is claimed to happen in the coming weeks.
