Fortnite fans love their shotguns, because it just does so much damage and is so much easier target enemies with that bullet spread. It makes the shotgun a popular choice among the players and they have their opinions about the many shotguns that are available in the game. Most shotguns are in the lower tier weapons which means that don’t do as much damage as some of the epic and legendary guns. The only exception is the Double-Barrel Shotgun which packs a wallop but has a high reload time after two shots.
People keep comparing the different shotguns that are there in the games, and the Pump Action Shotgun seems to have a lead in terms of the number of fans. It is only available as either uncommon or rare quality. And it seems Epic Games is about to add two new Pump Action Shotguns to the game which will be of the Legendary and Epic quality, meaning they will re rarer to come across and will deal significantly more damage.
Though Epic Games has not come out with the details about the guns being added, it has however added a photo of a Pump Action Shotgun which is in a gold background which can only mean that it is showing the Epic tier weapon. This will increase the number of shotguns available in Fortnite to 11. The update is set to go live today as was announced by Epic Games on its Twitter account, though it’s not clear if these would be added in this update.
