Hike Messenger brings all-new animated stickers pack to celebrate Diwali, Dhanteras and Bhai Dooj

Hike Messenger has introduced new animated sticker packs to celebrate festival of Diwali, Dhanteras and Bhai Dooj. These stickers include animated celebration of the festival with diyas, crackers, sparklers, twinkling lights, traditional rangolis, sweets and more.

Hike notes that these animated sticker packs for Diwali, Dhanteras and Bhai Dooj will be available in six languages  – English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati and Bhojpuri. Users will be able to choose from over 100 stickers with traditional greetings. To download these sticker packs, they can navigate to the sticker store in Hike Messenger’s chat option. These sticker packs will available on both Android and iOS platforms of Hike app starting November 5.

Previously on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival, Hike had also launched similar animated sticker packs as well. The stickers for Ganesh Chaturthi highlighted the ceremonies and visarjan of the holy festival including popular phrases from Ganesh Utsav, popular Mumbai and Pune pandals, and all eight Ganpatis in Ashtavinayak in eight stickers.

Hike messenger was launched in 2012. In January 2016, the company reached over 100 million user base milestone, and in 2017, it raised $175 million at a valuation of $1.4 billion. The fourth round of funding was led by Tencent and Foxconn.

At present, investors list in Hike include Tiger Global, Softbank and Bharti apart from Tencent and Foxconn. The company recently announced partnership with Ola. Users can now book Ola cabs or autos across 110 cities in the country within Hike Messenger app on iOS and Android. They can also pay through Hike Wallet or in cash.
