Huawei launched its flagship Mate 20 Pro smartphone in India this week and now, it is the turn of its e-brand to introduce a new device in the mid-range segment. Honor is set to launch the Honor 8C smartphone in India today, and the launch event is scheduled to kick off at 12:00PM. Teasers have already revealed that the device will be an Amazon India exclusive.
Honor 8C India Launch: How to watch the livestream
As it is a norm these days, Honor will also be streaming its launch event on its social platforms. The company has not made the livestream links live on any of the platforms yet, but you will be able to catch the announcement on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Honor 8C Launch: Features and Expected Price
Honor 8C will be another sub-Rs 15,000 smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker and could be cheaper than the Honor 8X, which was launched only recently. The Honor 8C features a 6.26-inch HD+ display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC. It is expected to come with 4GB of RAM and option for 32GB or 64GB storage.
For imaging, Honor 8C is equipped with dual 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear cameras and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The Honor 8C is expected to launch in three colors: midnight black, aurora blue and platinum gold. The Honor 8C is likely to be priced around Rs 15,000 when it becomes official later today.
Honor Band 4 Launch: Features and Expected Price
Honor Band 4, on the other hand, features a 0.95-inch AMOLED panel with 2.5D curved glass on top of it. It is already available in China as the successor to Honor Band 3 and is the first wearable from the company to feature a color display. Honor claims the fitness tracker has a 6-day battery life with its 100mAh battery. Honor Band 4 is water resistant and supports Bluetooth v4.2 and NFC.

It includes 6-axis gyroscope for tracking steps and has both an infrared sensor as well as a PPG heart rate sensor. It can also track sleep and is capable of monitoring your complete sleep cycle using cardiopulmonary coupled dynamics spectrum (CPC). The Honor Band 4 is priced at RMB 199 (around Rs 2,000) in China and it will compete against the Mi Band 3 in India.
