Huawei Band 3 Pro and Band 3e launched in the US market; Price starts $29.99

Huawei has launched its latest fitness trackers Band 3 Pro and Band 3e in the U.S. market. The Huawei Band 3 Pro was first unveiled alongside Huawei Watch GT and new Mate 20 series last month at an event in London. The fitness tracker was priced at Euro 99 (approximately Rs 8,000) for the European market, but in United Sates it will be made available at for $69.99 (approximately Rs 5,000).

The Huawei Band 3 Pro boasts of a 0.95-inch curved AMOLED touchscreen display. The fitness tracker mounts a heart rate sensor and GPS. Similar to Huawei Watch GT, the new Band 3 Pro also supports 5ATM water proofing and fitness features to track your exercise and other activities like sleep monitoring, swim tracker, sports tracking and coaching.

Inside, it packs a 100mAh battery which is claimed to provide 7 hours of usage with GPS tracking turned on. Huawei claims that the Band 3 Pro offers accurate heart rate readings because of TruSeen 3.0 heart monitoring system and artificial intelligence (AI).

Coming to Huawei Band 3e, it is an entry-level fitness tracker which is priced at $29.99 (approximately Rs 2,200) in the U.S. The band offers basic fitness tracking and notifications. The Band 3e features a 0.5-inch PMOLED screen and claims to offer about 14 days of battery life in ‘typical use’, notes Huawei.

The Huawei Band 3 Pro will be available in Black, Blue and Quicksand Gold color options. The Huawei Band 3e will come in Black and Pink colors. Both fitness trackers are already available through Amazon, B&H and Newegg in the U.S. These will soon be available through additional retailers such as Circuit City, Office Depot, Adorama, Rakuten and Tiger Direct as well.
