We could well be looking forward to a OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, which is slated to be announced in India on December 12.

While there is no clean indication that it will be special edition smartphone, hints in the press release point to this being the case.
OnePlus has a history of producing special edition devices in collaboration with other brands and franchises, having produced the Colette edition of the OnePlus 3T, the JCC edition of the OnePlus 5, the Star Wars Edition of the OnePlus 5T, and the Marvel Avengers Edition of the OnePlus 6. A McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T could take the brand’s collaborations into new adventurous territory, appealing to racing fans.
