Oppo A7 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, 3GB RAM may launch in India soon: Report

It seems Oppo is planning to expand its mobile portfolio in India even further. Oppo A7 is already rumored to launch in China on November 13, with an estimated price tag of around 1,599 Yuan (approximately Rs 16,700). The smartphone’s price in India is expected to be within the same range.

Now, according Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), who posts leaks and rumors frequently, has tweeted that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer may soon bring Oppo A7 to the Indian shores. Talking about specifications, Oppo A7 is expected to have a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and a waterdrop-style notch. Under the hood, the smartphone may have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, paired with (at least) 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. A higher-end variant could also be in the works, having 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage.

For imaging, Oppo A7 is likely to have a dual-camera system at the back, comprised of a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. Up front, the smartphone will most likely have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Running Android 8.1 Oreo (with ColorOS UI overlay) out-of-the-box, Oppo A7 is expected to be powered by a 4,230mAh battery.

It’s worth mentioning that most of these alleged specs are the same as those of the Realme 2, a smartphone that Oppo’s (former) sub-brand Realme launched in India earlier this year. However, there are a few differences, such as the waterdrop-style notch and a higher-resolution front-facing camera.
