After launching the Galaxy A7 (2018) in India, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A9 (2018) in Malaysia, and the highlight of the smartphone is it quad camera setup at the back. The company had confirmed that it will bring the smartphone to the Indian shores and now Samsung has sent official invites for the event. The launch will take place in Delhi on November 20, and the event will kick off at 12:00PM.

The setup includes a 24-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor of f/2.2 aperture for bokeh effects.

Besides the quad-camera setup, the Galaxy A9 (2018) comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with 2220×1080 pixels resolution, and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. With 128GB storage on board, it can also be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card.
In terms of security, you get a fingerprint sensor that is embedded inside the power button, and support for Face Unlock is also present. Making sure everything ticks is a 3,800mAh battery. Connectivity options include USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. Talking about software, the smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI skin on top.
There is no word on the availability and platforms on which the smartphone will be sold. However, a recent leak hinted that the Galaxy A9 (2018) could be priced around Rs 35,000.
