The latest smartphone from Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 6 Pro goes on sale today at 12 noon. The smartphone will be available to buy on Flipkart and Mi.com/in, the company’s e-store for sales in India. This is the second sale for the device, and the phone will be priced from Rs 13,999. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro which was launched earlier this year.

While Xiaomi usually launches new Redmi Note series devices annually, this is the second major device this year. While certain hardware aspects of the phone remain unchanged, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro does sport some key differences in the camera and screen departments. The phone sports a dual-camera setup at both the front and rear, as well as a notched full-HD+ screen. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, and you get either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, along with 64GB of storage.

The dual-camera setup at the rear comes with a primary 12-megapixel sensor with wider f/1.9 aperture, and support for dual-pixel autofocus. It is aided by a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 for depth mapping and 3D effects. At the front, the dual-camera setup sports a 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensor combination.
