Chinese smartphone maker Huawei launched its flagship smartphone Mate 20 Pro, in India on November 27. The smartphone went on sale exclusively for the Amazon Prime members yesterday. And now the smartphone is available to everyone for purchase on Amazon India.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro: Offers and Price
Huawei Mate 20 Pro, being a flagship smartphone, boasts all the bells and whistles that smartphones today have to offer. Huawei’s pricing of the Mate 20 Pro is aggressive, and the smartphone is available at Rs 69,990. In comparison, the Google Pixel 3 was launched at a starting price of Rs 71,000, while the iPhone XR with LCD display from Apple starts at Rs 76,900. In order to sweeten the deal further, a Mate 20 Pro bundle is being offered with Sennheiser PXC550 noise-cancelling headphones for Rs 71,990. The Sennheiser PXC550 retails for Rs 29,990, and customers are getting it for just Rs 2,000 with the Mate 20 Pro.
Other offers include an exchange offer of up to Rs 16,000, and EMI options from major banks starting from Rs 3,295 which include No Cost EMIs on using major bank credit cards and Bajaj Finserv card. IndusInd Bank Cards and RBL Bank Credit Card users will receive a 10 percent instant discount. Additionally Idea Vodafone users will be entitled to a 20 percent discount on their rental plans or additional data offers.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro: Specifications and Features
To recall, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro was launched at an event in London in October, and it is an enhanced version of P20 Pro launched early this year. The smartphone builds on the design of Huawei P20 Pro, and goes for an edge-to-edge display with a notch at the top and in-display fingerprint sensor.
It features a 6.39-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage. It is powered by Kirin 980 SoC, a new chipset with 6.9 billion transistors and fabricated using 7nm process. There is also a triple Leica rear camera setup with 40-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel telephoto camera and a 20-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera. At the front, it gets a 24-megapixel selfie shooter. The Mate 20 Pro runs EMUI 9 based on Android Pie, and is backed by a 4,200mAh battery.

It is the only smartphone in the world that can also be used to wirelessly charge other smartphones using reverse charging. It comes bundled with 40W adapter for super fast wired charging. At Rs 69,990, it seems to tick a lot of right boxes in a segment that is fiercely competed between OnePlus, Samsung and Apple.
