Hong Kong-based smartphone maker Infinix Mobile has just launched its latest smartphone. This new smartphone to launch is the Infinix Hot 9. The launch of the smartphone comes just days after we reported a leak. As previously noted, we were already aware of the quad-rear camera and some other aspects of the smartphone. These include the rear panel and the circular camera module. It is worth noting that the company has launched this smartphone in Indonesia. There is no information available of the possible India launch. Now, let’s take a closer look at the specifications of the Infinix Hot 9. In addition, the pricing details may give us a hint at possible India pricing.
Infinix Hot 9 specifications and expected price in India
According to a report from MySmartPrice, we now know the specifications of the latest Infinix smartphone. Taking a closer look, the smartphone will come with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with an octa-core CPU. It will also feature PowerVR GE8320 GPU along with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Infinix has also added a 6.6-inch display with HD+ resolution with a punch-hole design. The punch hole features an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Talking about the rear quad-camera, we will get a 16-megapixel primary sensor. Other sensors include two 2-megapixel sensors and one depth sensor. It is worth noting that the device that launched in Indonesia does not come with a circular camera sensor. Instead, it features a traditional square setup on the top left corner.

Digging a bit deeper, it is also worth pointing out that the leak hinted at a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The smartphone will also feature triple slots for two SIM cards and one microSD card. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is different from the design in the leaked smartphone. The smartphone runs on Android 10-based XOS 6.0 with the help of a massive 5,000mAh battery. Infinix has added a standard 10W charger in the box.
Taking a look at all the differences, it is likely that Infinix may launch a different Hot 9 in India. The company has priced the smartphone at just 1,699,000 Indonesian Rupiah. This comes to about Rs 7,851 making it a capable budget smartphone. It will go on sale starting from March 27, 2020.
