Nokia 1.3 renders leak out revealing dot notch display design

HMD Global seems to be preparing to launch multiple smartphones across different price points on the global stage. The company is scheduled to launch the first wave of its 2020 smartphones at an event in a couple of hours. Similar to most smartphone launches in the past, the company has canceled the on-ground event in favor of a live stream. The company is set to reveal multiple devices at the launch event with upgraded hardware. With just hours to go, some information about one of the smartphones has leaked online. As part of the leak, high-resolution renders of the Nokia 1.3 have surfaced on the internet. Let’s take a closer look.

Nokia 1.3 renders leaked

According to the information, the company is likely planning to launch its entry-level Nokia 1.3 at the launch event. The budget smartphone will come with model number TA-1207. The model number and the high-quality renders for the device come from notable tipster Evan Blass. These renders showcase the Charcoal color variant for the upcoming Nokia 1.3 smartphone. In addition, the renders also showcased all the important aspects of the design. As per the renders, Nokia 1.3 will feature a dot notch design on the top of the display. In addition, we will also get a thick chin at the bottom of the display.

Moving on, the smartphone will also feature a single-lens camera setup on the back of the smartphone with a dedicated LED flash unit. Otherwise, the back panel of the smartphone is quite clean with the Nokia branding in the middle. The company has also likely added a speaker grill on the bottom left corner at the back.

Talking about the button layout, we can see the volume rocker and power button on the right side of the smartphone. The one button on the left side of the device is likely the dedicated Google Assistant button. Last but not least, it is also possible that we will get a 3.5mm audio socket on the top of the smartphone. As per past reports, the device will likely sport a 5.8-inch display along with a 2,920mAh battery.
