Coronavirus Breakdown has a more significant impact on all over the world. From government to Bollywood and Hollywood, everyone is taking precautionary measures to control the disease. Many films are getting their release dates to shift to two or three months forward. Warner Bros Pictures Hollywood movie Wonder Woman 1984 will now hit the theaters on August 14, 2020. Earlier, the movie sets to release on June 5, 2020. Wonder Woman 1984 is a sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman. The film directs by Patty Jenkins and produces under DC Films. Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wing, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright, and Connie Nielson are in the lead roles. Gal Gadot is playing the role of Wonder Woman. Gdaot wrote on her official Twitter account and said:
“In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead. Where we can share the power of the cinema again. Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020. I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all.”
Not only Wonder Woman, but the studio also shifts several other movies from its official release dates, including the Scooby-Doo. The film sets to release on May 15, but now it is set to release on August 14. Talking about Wonder Woman, director Patty Jenkins said:
“We made Wonder Woman 1984 for the big screen and I believe in the power of cinema. In these terrible times, when theatre owners are struggling as so many are, we are excited to redate our film to August 14, 2020, in a theatre near you and pray for better times for all by then.”
Other Movies shifts their Release Dates:
No Time To Die, Daniel Craig’s final chapter of James Bond was going to release in April, but now it shifts for November release. Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow has also changed its release from its earlier release date. F9, the next Fast and Furious shift its release date for a year.
