Huawei launches 65-inch 4K OLED TV with 120Hz refresh rate: Price, full specifications

Huawei has launched a new 65-inch OLED TV in China. The Huawei Vision Smart TV X65 ships with the company’s proprietary Hongmeng OS and not with Android OS. The smart TV’s price is set at RMB 24,999, which is around Rs 2,70,380 in India. The latest 4K OLED TV from Huawei comes an ultra-thin body with 24.9mm thickness. The company claims that its TV has a high screen to body ratio, meaning it features thin bezels.

The smart TV is powered by a home-brewed HiSilicon Hi3559C chipset, which is capable of AI computing using an NPU. It leverages advanced multichannel sensors, which helps adjusts the color and speed of the TV’s screen. Huawei says the television has a total of 14 speakers, that output up to 75W. There is also a pop-up camera on the top of the TV, which houses a 24-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera.

Additionally, the pop-up camera also supports Air gesture control and video calling. The 65-inch display is certified by German TUV Rheinland for eye comfort. The Chinese company asserts that it can go up to 1,000nits peak brightness. The Huawei Vision Smart TV X65 also comes with 5.1 channels. Huawei will be selling the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the TV.

Interested buyers can get the latest Huawei smart TV from China. It is available for pre-orders in the country, and the shipping will start on April 26. Alongside the Huawei Vision X65, the brand also took the wraps off a refreshed version of the old Vision TV, which is called Vision V55i. This one comes with a price label of RMB 3,799 (approximately Rs 41,080). Besides, the company already took a hit in sales outside home-country China since the band that deprived its phones of Google Apps and Services. As a result, Huawei will be likely looking to move away from Qualcomm later this year.
