Oppo A12 with 4230mAh battery, dual camera setup announced

Oppo has added one more smartphone in the ‘A Series’, dubbed Oppo A12. The company has quietly announced it in Indonesia market. The Oppo A12 flaunts a dual camera setup at the back and a front waterdrop notch display. The phone features a diamond pattern on the rear panel.

In terms of pricing, the Oppo A12 price is kept at startin24,99,000 Indonesian Rupiah (approximately Rs 12,000). The phone comes in two variants with 3GB RAM and with 4GB RAM. The other variant price is not available as yet, reports FoneArena. The A12 will be available in Black and Blue color options.

Oppo A12: Specifications and features

The Oppo A12 features a 6.22-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The front offers waterdrop notch screen with the selfie camera of a 5-megapixel lens with f/2.4 aperture. The phone doesn’t have an in-display fingerprint reader instead there is a standard rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Internally, the A12 features an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 12nm processor (ARM Cortex A53 CPU) with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes in two variants with 3GB / 4GB LPDDR4X RAM along with 32GB or 64GB internal storage. At the back, Oppo has included dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 4,230mAh battery with standard Micro-USB charging support. It runs Android 9 with ColorOS 6.1.2 out-of-the-box.
