Just yesterday, Xiaomi launched the MIUI 12 in China. The brand has already confirmed that it will be releasing the latest MIUI 12 update for its Redmi and Mi phones in three batches. While a lot of users are yet to experience the latest MIUI custom skin, Xiaomi has already started working on the next version of the custom skin, which is MIUI 13.
Xiaomi itself has confirmed the development of MIUI 13 via a post on Mi Community China after the MIUI 12 launch event. Through this post, the company is asking Xiaomi users to participate in a Feature Design Survey for MIUI 13. The new firmware will likely hit Xiaomi phones in the year 2021. It is expected to offer advanced features and capabilities. As Xiaomi has already given the confirmation of MIUI 13’s presence, more details regarding the next version of MIUI is expected to surface online.

Besides, the latest MIUI 12 brings improved dark mode, new animations, enhanced privacy controls, and a lot more changes. The update will bring Dark Mode 2.0, which will support 42 inbuilt apps. As per the MIUI 12 roadmap shared by Xiaomi, several phones will start receiving the stable build in June 2020. The handsets that will get the MIUI 12 in June include the Xiaomi Redmi K20 series, Redmi K30 series, Mi 10 series, Mi 10 Youth Edtion, and more.
Smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi 8A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 6 Pro are expected to get the MIUI 12 update later this year. Furthermore, it has also been reported that the beta builds for Xiaomi devices like Mi 6, Mi 6X, Mi Mix 2, Mi Note 3, and Redmi Note 5 will also be released starting June. The brand is soon expected to launch MIUI 12 in India alongside the Mi 10 series.
