Chinese smartphone maker and electronics giant Xiaomi has just announced its annual “Diwali with Mi” sale event. As part of the event, the company has announced a number of new discounts and offers that potential buyers, existing Xiaomi customers or the Mi fans can make use of. The annual event is set to start from October 23 till October 25. We have listed down all the offers down below along with the amount of discount that the Diwali sale event is bringing to its users. In addition to the offers, the company is also holding “engaging games” including Cracker Ninja.
The Xiaomi Fans and users “will need to light up crackers that pop up on the screen” in the game as per the announcement. The players will have to avoid bombs to light enough of the crackers so that they can win products including POCO F1, Redmi Y2, and Mi Power Banks. In addition to products, the company will also give away Mi coupons to players and they can also invite their friends to play the game. Xiaomi will also hold the “More Likes, More discounts” event where the company will offer more discounts on select products given if they reach a certain number of likes.
Both the events, the “Cracker Ninja” and “More Likes, More Discounts” started from October 20 where the game will be online till 11:59 PM on October 25 while the activity will be online till 11:59 PM on October 22. Head of Categories and Online sales for Xiaomi India, Raghu Reddy issued a statement adding, “This year has been very special for Xiaomi India, as we witnessed a sale of over 2.5 million devices in less than two and a half days at the very start of the festive season. This feat was a first time for Xiaomi India and we want to ensure that this festive season, we continue to offer our innovative products of the highest quality at even more incredible prices than before.”
Re 1 Flash Sale
The company is bringing its “Rs 1 Flash Sale” where two products will be available for Rs 1, each day of the sale where users will have the chance to get “higher priced products for” a lower price as part of bundle offers.
Product discounts as part of Diwali with Mi event
There are a number of devices that will available on a discount for buyers to choose from including smartphones and other smartphone-related accessories. The highlight deals include Rs 2,000 discount on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, both the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and the 6GB RAM + 64GB variants, Redmi Y2, and Xiaomi Mi A2. This means that the Redmi Note 5 Pro 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 12,999 instead of Rs 14,999, the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 14,999 instead of Rs 16,999, Redmi Y2 costs Rs 10,999 instead of Rs 12,999, and Xiaomi Mi A2 is priced at Rs 14,999 instead of Rs 16,999.

The Mi LED Smart TV 4A 43-inch comes with Rs 1,000 discount so users can get it for Rs 21,999. Mi Power Bank 2i White 20,000mAh is priced at Rs 1,399 instead of Rs 1,499, Mi Power Bank 2i 10,000mAh is priced at Rs 699 instead of Rs 799. Mi Bluetooth Headset Basic Black is priced at Rs 799 instead of Rs 899, Mi Earphone Basic Black and Red are priced at Rs 349 instead of Rs 399 and Mi Earphones Black and Silver variants are priced at Rs 599 instead of Rs 699. Mi Bluetooth Audio Receiver White is priced at Rs 899 instead of Rs 999, Mi Router 3C is priced at Rs 899 instead of Rs 999.

As part of the event, the company will offer buyers an addition Rs 750 off if they buy using their SBI credit card for a minimum purchase of Rs 7,500 and Rs 500 discount if they use their Paytm account to buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and POCO F1. Xiaomi also teamed up to offer 20 percent cash back up to Rs 2,000 for MobiKwik users, Rs 500 flat off on buying Mi LED Smart TV 4A 32-inch and 43-inch with the help of Amazon Pay, and coupons worth Rs 3,500 if the buyer uses IXIGO to buy Xiaomi smartphones.
Online offers extended to the offline
Xiaomi is also offering discounts as part of Diwali on its offline stores from October 23 to November 7. The company is offering special offers includes the Rs 500 voucher cash back for users who make a purchase of a smartphone worth up to Rs 10,000 from their Paytm account. The cash back increases to Rs 1,000 if the cost of the smartphone is priced more than Rs 10,000. It has also teamed up with SBI to offer Rs 500 cash back on a purchase of more than Rs 8,000.
