It’s been a while since leaks around Google’s toned-down Pixel 3 variants started appearing on the web. We have heard about the mid-range Google Pixel, its codename (sargo), which was also mentioned in one of the previous ARCore APK teardown.
Last few leaks revealed the design of the alleged Pixel 3 Lite, but now a tip via GizChina has taken center stage showcasing the alleged Pixel 3 Lite alongside a Pixel 3.
As per the leaked image, the Google Pixel 3 Lite will carry visibly thicker borders compared to the Pixel 3. The size of two pixel phones appears different as well. The Lite version of Pixel 3 is anticipated to carry a 5.56-inch LCD screen instead of 5.5-inch AMOLED panel.
The top of Pixel 3 Lite is tipped to boast a 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port. Previous leaks tipped Pixel 3 Lite to feature 5.56-inch LCD display with full HD+ resolution (2220x1080pixels). It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 670 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage.
Photography has always been the highlight of the Pixel smartphones, and just like the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, the Lite model is also expected to feature the same 12-megapixel rear sensor. Upfront, an 8-megapixel sensor is expected, but it will mostly lack the secondary wide-angle lens.
