Honor has announced that the red variant of mid-range Honor 8X smartphone will go on sale on November 28 exclusively on Amazon India. While the phone was launched on October 16 and has been on sale in its other color variants, the red option has just been introduced in India as the third color variant. The Honor 8X is priced from Rs 14,999 in India, and is available to buy on Amazon India and the company’s Honor India e-store.
Interestingly, the Honor 8X red variant was first teased on the Honor India e-store through a promotional sale for Re 1 on November 20. However, this being a promotional offer, only a limited number of units were actually put on sale at the symbolic price of Re 1. From tomorrow, the red variant will go on general sale on Amazon India alongside the Midnight Black and Navy Blue color variants.
Honor 8X Specifications and Price
The Honor 8X comes with a metal and glass finish that makes it really stylish. It features a 6.5-inch display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is also a notch at the top of the display, which allows for a taller aspect ratio. Under the hood is a HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset coupled with 4GB or 6GB RAM, and option for 64GB or 128GB storage. In terms of camera, there is dual rear camera setup comprising of 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors, and there is a 16-megapixel shooter at the front.

The Honor 8X is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 4G LTE. It runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and is backed by a 3,750mAh battery. The price starts at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM variant while the 6GB RAM variant with 64GB storage is priced at Rs 16,999.
