Earlier this month, Samsung officially announced the Exynos 9-series chipset – the Exynos 9820, which will be powering the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 models. The new chipset comes with fourth-gen CPU, improved neural processing unit, and 2Gbps LTE Advanced Pro modem among other improvements. Now, while we are months away from the official unveiling of the Galaxy S10-series devices, looks like someone already managed to put the chipset and the smartphone through the paces.
Twitter user Ice Universe, has shared a screenshot of AnTuTu benchmark result showing the Exynos 9820 at work on the Galaxy S10+. The device carries a model number SM-G975F, and it has logged an impressive score of 325,076 on the benchmarking platform. In comparison, Neowin put the iPhone and Mate 20 through the paces where the iPhone XS Max logged a score of 312,678, and Huawei Mate 20 logged a score of 273,295.

While it is too early to say, the result does hint that the Galaxy S10-series is likely to outperform the competition, while bringing performance improvements over the predecessor. Qualcomm is also working on the next flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 855 (or Snapdragon 8150), which was recently spotted on AnTuTu with a score of 362,292.
Samsung is expected to release as many as four Galaxy S10 models. Based on what we have come across so far, the Galaxy S10 Lite will be the cheapest offering with single front and dual rear cameras, the Galaxy S10 will come with dual front and rear cameras, the Galaxy S10 Plus could sport dual front and triple rear cameras.
A special Galaxy S10 5G variant may come with dual front and triple rear camera setup. There is no word on the pricing of the Galaxy 10, nor there is any word on the release date. But usually, the devices go on sale sometime in March, after unveiling at MWC in February, and the same could happen this time around too.
