Samsung seems to be gearing up for another mid-range phone launch. This device in question is the Samsung Galaxy A31. An official support page for the device has gone online hinting at an imminent India launch.
The support page lists the device along with the model number ‘SM-A315F/DS’. The page was first spotted by the folks at MSP. It however doesn’t reveal anything about the upcoming device. But the presence of a support page is a clear indication of an imminent launch.
Samsung Galaxy A31 features, specifications
The support page may not reveal any details, but the Galaxy A31 was recently spotted on Geekbench. The benchmark website gives us a glimpse at some of the possible features and specifications.
As per the listing, the upcoming Galaxy A31 will sport a MediaTek Helio P65 SoC under the hood. Accompanying the chipset will be 4GB of RAM. These mid-range specs result in a score of 349 in single-core tests, and 1,291 in multi-core tests.
Other rumored features include up to 128GB storage, and a large 5,000mAh battery. Samsung is likely to stick to the 15W charging support as seen on the smartphone’s predecessor. The Galaxy A31 is also likely to feature a triple-camera setup at the back. This setup could include a 48-megapixel primary camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. On the software front, the device will run Android 10-based OneUI out-of-the-box.
