Hisense launches new phones with color e-ink display: Check price, sale date, features

Hisense has launched two new A5C and A5Pro CC phones with a color e-ink screen. The handsets use the latest typographic color e-paper tech, which adds a layer of color filters to the original black and white ink screen. As per the company, this new type of color e-paper tech can display 4096 kinds of rich colors. The standard Hisense A5C price is set at RMB 1599, which is around Rs 17,200 in India. This device will go on sale on April 29.

The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model of the Hisense A5Pro CC is priced at RMB 1,799 (approximately Rs 19,409). The company is also offering a 6GB + 128GB version, which will cost RMB 1,999 (roughly Rs 21,560). This unit will be available for pre-order on June 10 via Jingdong Mall. The latest Hisense phones come with a compact 5.84-inch display. The Hisense A5Pro CC is powered by a UNISOC T610 processor, with a new fast refresh mode. The refresh time is 136ms, and it comes equipped with an independent speaker. This handset ships with Android 10 out of the box. The company has given a dual SIM card + T card option as well.

It also features a 13-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. There is also a fingerprint recognition at the back. The latest phone comes with an e-ink color display, NFC support and USB Type-C port. The brand has added a 4,000mAh battery under the hood, and supports 4G connectivity. The Hisense A5C packs a 5.84-inch color ink screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and a 4,000mAh battery. It even supports 4G, and has a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
