WhatsApp for iOS gets paste multiple items feature: Here’s how to use

WhatsApp has released beta for iOS 2.21.10.23 via the TestFlight beta Program that brings several bug fixes and improvements to the messaging app. One of the key features that it enables is the ability to paste multiple items.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, the feature is already available for everyone. Another feature that lets users join group calls any time on WhatsApp will also be available in a future update, the report added.

The ability to paste multiple items will essentially allow users to select multiple images and videos from the Photos app to send to a chat. To use the feature, first select multiple images and videos from the Photos app to be sent. Next, click on “Export” and then tap “Copy”. To send the images and videos, open WhatsApp and paste the content in the chat bar.

The update also fixes the bug that prevented to search for status updates. In addition, it brings improvements for voice, video and group calls as well as backing up chat history. More improvements while creating new contacts and their management, sharing URLs, for connections as well as general improvements for stickers and Memoji have been included as well.

Coming to join group calls anytime, the feature will be enabled in the future, as per the report. It will let users invite any participant to join a group call any time even if the participant has declined the call previously. WhatsApp is working on a similar feature that will allow participants to join missed calls for Android as well.

WhatsApp is gearing up to unveil a slew of features for the app as well as web version. Among the key features for WhatsApp Web could be the ability to make audio and video calls. WhatsApp is already testing the feature with some users, while parent company Facebook has confirmed it will roll out for everyone next year.
