Motorola’s Moto G series is its most successful line of phones in recent years. Now, the company is quietly ushering the latest incarnation in this series — Moto G7. Owing to its sighting on FCC, we believe that the Moto G7 with model number XT1965-2 might grace us earlier than the expected. Though, there is no word on its official launch.
Motorola’s Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play made a debut earlier this year at the end of May. This year, Motorola took a different approach to address the budget and mid-range segments. However, the competition got stiffer than expected. The details of the Moto G7 remain under wraps, and the FCC filing spills a few beans through the test reports. The purported Moto G7 will be a dual-SIM handset supporting a dual band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi network as well.
In the FCC filing, a letter hints to another tested product with FCC ID /IHDT56XN3, which is yet to appear with the results. It could be the global variant of the Moto G7 or the Moto G7 Plus.
So far, the rumors surrounding the phone hint at a 6.4-inch display, improved cameras (dual primary ones), more memory, and a 3,500mAh battery. A perfect set of incremental update toting Moto G7 might not appear with the Android 9.0 Pie if it launches in next couple of weeks.

However, that is least likely since Motorola‘s Moto G6 family made its debut in May. Our educated guess aims at the possible launch sometime in mid-January. Disengaging the speculation here, we shall continue monitoring for more details on this handset.
