Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65-inch with 4K LED panel launched in China: Price, features

Xiaomi has launched the latest version of its Mi TV 4 television range in China today. The new Xiaomi Mi TV 4 has a 65-inch 4K LED screen, and is a smart TV similar to the rest of the range. The TV is the largest on offer from Xiaomi, and is priced at RMB 5,999 (approximately Rs 63,300).

The new Mi TV 4 is a step-up in size from the Mi TV 4 55-inch that was launched in India earlier this year. The high-end 55-inch TV is priced at Rs 44,999 in India, and sports a similar design to the new 65-inch option that has just been launched. With a slim, practically bezel-less design, the new TV is slightly larger, and also slightly more expensive to factor in the higher cost of the 65-inch panel.

The new Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65-inch runs on the company’s PatchWall UI, which is itself based on Android. PatchWall is said to be designed for better integration of smart functionality with traditional satellite and cable television programming through set-top boxes. Many key content apps work on PatchWall, which is already present on the existing Xiaomi Mi TV range. The new TV will go on sale in China on November 11, and could even be launched in India in the coming months.
